Senior (Legacy) Adult Ministries exists to engage retirees at Grace Church in opportunities for Christian growth, fellowship, ministry, and outreach.
Senior Adult Ministries
Senior adults are involved in many different ministries within the church. There are also special ministries by and for senior adults, including shut-in visitation, or helping with church mailings. Senior Adult Ministries is led by the Leadership Team under the pastoral oversight of Pastor Marty:

LUNCH WITH JEREMY PARSONS in the FLC. Jeremy is the Secretary/ Manager/CEO of the Iowa State Fair and also one of our Grace Church family. He’ll have an entertaining presentation on the Iowa State Fair, then and now. In keeping with the fair theme, we’ll be serving up some state fair food for lunch.

Collingsworth Family in Concert
Tuesday, April 7th at 7:00 p.m.
THE COLLINGSWORTH FAMILY at the Franklin Junior High auditorium. This is not a Legacy sponsored event but we know many of you are familiar with the Collingsworth Family, one of the nation’s top Christian music groups. Their last concert here in Des Moines was at our church and was sold out. You can purchase tickets at their website.

LUNCH WITH GRANDVIEW CHRISTIAN SCHOOL. Many of you have grandkids or know of families in our church with kids at Grandview Christian. We will be hosting a student choral ensemble and a presentation of the exciting things happening at Grandview. We’ll have a pizza buffet for you and the students.

LUNCH WITH JERRY VAN CLEAVE. Jerry is chaplain of the Polk County Jail and a member of Grace Church. Come and hear his life story and how his ministry has changed the lives of many inmates there. (Lunch provided)
