Senior (Legacy) Adult Ministries exists to engage retirees at Grace Church in opportunities for Christian growth, fellowship, ministry, and outreach.
Legacy Ministries (55+)
Senior adults are involved in many different ministries within the church. There are also special ministries by and for senior adults, including shut-in visitation, or helping with church mailings. Senior Adult Ministries is led by the Leadership Team under the pastoral oversight of Pastor Marty:

LUNCH WITH JERRY VAN CLEAVE. Jerry is chaplain of the Polk County Jail and a member of Grace Church. Come and hear his life story and how his ministry has changed the lives of many inmates there. (Lunch provided)

Thursday, June 18th @ noon
LUNCH at FREEDOM FOR YOUTH. Freedom for Youth is a ministry directed primarily at refugees and inner-city kids. In addition to evangelism and discipleship, Freedom offers academic tutoring, vocational skills such as auto mechanics, construction and retail through their Freedom Blend coffee shop. We’ll have lunch together (bring your own), an overview of the ministry and a tour of the facility including the new construction training and children’s buildings.

Cookout and Movie Night
Thursday, July 16th @ 6:00 PM
OUR ANNUAL COOKOUT AND MOVIE NIGHT. We’ll be grilling brats and hot dogs, serving chips, cookies and cold beverages. We will be showing “I CAN ONLY IMAGINE 2”, one of this year’s best Christian films. As in years past, this event will be held indoors in air-conditioned comfort.
